What kinds of fences and gates do you install?

We install custom fences and gates built to fit your property, style, and security needs. That includes metal fences, custom entry gates, driveway gates, and automated gate systems. Every project is custom fabricated, so you are not getting a one-size-fits-all product. We build for privacy, safety, curb appeal, and long-term value.

How long does a fence or gate installation usually take?

Most fence projects take about 3 to 6 weeks, and most gate projects also take about 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the design, materials, and site conditions. Because we custom fabricate everything, timing can vary a little. We will give you a clear schedule upfront and keep you updated from start to finish.

Do you offer custom designs and automated gates?

Yes. Custom fabrication is one of the main reasons customers choose us. We can build a new automated driveway gate, install a manual gate, or even automate an existing gate in many cases. We regularly work with trusted gate hardware and access control brands like LiftMaster, Chamberlain Elite, CellGate, and Locinox to help deliver reliable performance.

How does your estimate and installation process work?

We start by setting an appointment with one of our estimators to go over styles, measurements, finishes, and project goals. After that, we send a complete itemized estimate for your review. We follow up after about two days, and if you are ready to move forward, we sign the contract, collect the deposit, order materials, begin custom fabrication, and then schedule your installation. Once the job is complete, we walk you through the finished fence or gate and collect the final payment.

Are you licensed, insured, and do you offer a warranty?

Yes. AC Custom Metal Work is licensed, bonded, and insured. We also stand behind our work with a 60-month warranty on our craftsmanship. We have been serving customers since 2003, and our team brings 20+ years of hands-on experience. As a family-owned, women-owned, and minority-owned company, we take pride in doing the job right and treating customers with respect.

How much do you require upfront, and how do I get started?

For projects over $1,500, we require 50% down at the time the contract is signed, with the remaining 50% due when the project is completed. If you are thinking about a new fence, security gate, driveway gate, or custom metal boundary for your property, the best next step is to contact us for a same-day quote or visit when available. Why Homeowners Invest in Fence & Gate Installation

A custom fence and gate system solves several problems at once. It can help keep kids and pets safer, limit unwanted access, define property lines, and create a cleaner, more finished look around the home. Many customers also want better control over who enters their property and a design that matches the style of the house.

We build each project to balance function and appearance. Some customers want a simple, durable perimeter fence. Others want an ornamental metal fence with a matching driveway gate that makes a strong first impression. We can help with both.

Improves property security
Adds privacy where you need it most
Creates safer access control
Boosts curb appeal
Helps define boundaries clearly
Adds long-term value to the property
Provides custom sizing, style, and finish options

Our Custom Fabrication Approach

Custom fabrication is one of the biggest reasons customers choose us. We do not treat every property the same. Grade changes, driveway width, gate swing clearance, slope, usage needs, and design goals all matter. We take time to understand how the fence or gate needs to perform before we build it.

Our team works with you on the details, including style, measurements, layout, and finish. Whether you want a more decorative look or something focused on security and durability, we fabricate your system to fit your property and your goals.

Because we specialize in metal fabrication, automated driveway gates, fences, and rails, we understand how to build systems that look clean and hold up over time. Our bread and butter is automated driveway gates, and that experience helps us design gate installations that open properly, align correctly, and work smoothly.

Our Installation Process

We keep the process clear so you know what to expect from the start.

Project Timeline

Most fence projects are typically completed in about 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the scope, level of customization, material lead times, and site conditions. If your project includes a custom gate or gate automation, timing may vary based on equipment and fabrication details. We offer same-day quotes or site visits when available, which helps homeowners get the process started faster.

Gate Options and Automation

If your project includes a driveway or access gate, we can build the gate as a standalone installation or as part of a full fence system. We also offer automated gate solutions for convenience and better access control.

We work with well-known hardware and automation brands, including LiftMaster, Chamberlain Elite, CellGate, and Locinox. These systems can support reliable opening and closing, controlled entry, and easier day-to-day use. If you want the look of a custom fabricated gate with the convenience of automatic access, we can help you build both into the project from the start.

Built for Durability and Long-Term Performance

A fence or gate should not just look good on install day. It should stay strong and work properly over time. We focus on quality craftsmanship, proper fabrication, and professional installation so your investment performs the way it should.

We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and we stand behind our work with a 60-month warranty on our craftsmanship. That matters when you are investing in a custom boundary system that affects security, usability, and appearance every day.
